I HAD TO REPOST THIS COZ DA messed it up!

one of my favourite characters from the invincible ace project. i remodelled this one for the new project. young dunedyne is a guy with many names his friends call him maverick due to his superior iQ some call him D squared others call him the king of mystery, dunedyne is a member of the invincible ace bounty squad representing the joker card. dunedyne is also a aironite like jin, josh and duke.
dunedyne has a way of cheering people up even in the most darkest of situations making him a valued member of the invincible ace team. with jokes aside D can be the most deadliest force when pissed off and it takes alot to piss him off.

teegi thanks for inspiration on this one and the ball weapon.

This is a good example of how a good texture can add so much to a rather minimalistic lowpoly model. I wish I could create textures like that for my own models!

Me too, except that I suck painting textures, and I still didn't find a good UV mapping tecnique that can speed up the process and produce the best and fewer seams.

yeh i have for maya, its a combination of isolating and hiding the areas you want to texture. by hiding certain parts of your model it makes it easier to select the faces you want to uv map. i personally enjoy uvmapping in maya however in max i hate it.

Same here, but I have no choice. Maya is incompatible with Poser's WaveFront OBJ models. The OBJ plugin automatically reorders vertexes when importing and that destroys all of the morph targets (blend shapes).

Perhaps people who create such plugins felt discouraged to develop new ones for OBJ because Maya already comes with one for free. Did you know that even the 3DSMAX OBJ plugin also doesn't work correctly, and they haven't fixed this issue for more than 4 full version releases? Try creating a model with small details and then export to OBJ from MAX using a 1/100 scale to see what happens - your model will become a spiked ball!!

He looks great, I really like the design. Looks greatly modeled too. Good work, man. ^^
